4 Rays, 0 Sox
Tim Wakefield has been exceeding expectations since joining the starting rotation. He keeps the game within striking distance and gives the bullpen a decent rest. He went 7 innings and only gave up 2 runs. I don't fully understand why they are replacing him with Andrew Miller next week. Last night we have seen we saw something we haven't seen in a while, the Sox bats go quite. James Shields pitched a masterful game as he went the distance and struck out 5.
This game was pretty boring and was wrapped up in under 2 hours and 30 minutes.
The Sox are 0-3 against the Rays.
