6 Red Sox, 4 Yankees

We got the win against the Yankees, sweet, but I really think it's time we start monitoring Jon Lester. I have been shrugging it off like he is just going through a rough patch, however, he hasn't looked good or the Ace that we expect thus far this year. His line is alright, six innings, eight hits, three runs. But he hasn't been dominant to say the least. I'm afraid that there may be something wrong with him and a DL stint may be in the card, which for the Sox would be devastating.

Offensively we are fine. In the 1st Jacoby hit a homer and Gonzalez hit a triple? and scored a run.

Things got a little hectic in the ninth as our Jonathan Papelbon walked a guy and gave up a single to Posada (who replaced Teixiera after Lester plunked him) to make it a 6-4 game. Then he struck out Curtis Granderson and A-Rod swinging for his 12th save of the season and 200th of his career, becoming the fastest closer to reach the mark (359 games).

Tonight the Sox rely on the Wake to take the division lead.
