Angelina Jolie and Sarah Jessica Parker have highest Forbes magazine’s annual list  of the topped paid female actresses with projected income of $30m (£18.6m) a year.

Household figures such as Jennifer Aniston ($28m), Reese Witherspoon (also $28m) and Julia Roberts ($20m) absolute the top five, but there is room in the top 10 for newer faces. Kristen Stewart is at No 6 with $20m, thanks to the success of the Twilight films, while Katherine Heigl locates herself at No 7 following paydays for turkeys such as Killers and The Ugly Truth.
Cameron Diaz and Sandra Bullock round out the top 10 with $18m and $15m correspondingly.
Forbes made its research for the period between May 2010 and May 2011. Jolie is considered to be on top greatly due to films such as Salt and The Tourist, both of which acted well at the box office. Parker reportedly gains substantial payments when Sex and the City reruns are broadcast around the world, while the latest film in the series' big-screen translation pulled in a respectable $290m.
The list may look rather different in 2012. Witherspoon's latest film How Do You Know and Roberts's new movie Larry Crowne both confirmed to be box-office flops.
While they are possibly not short of pocket change, the women named by Forbes are generally trailing after their male colleagues.

The men's list was published in September and saw Johnny Depp on top with a staggering $75m in annual earnings. Ben Stiller ($53m), Tom Hanks ($45m) and Adam Sandler ($40m) all earned more than Jolie.
