Kate's Old Car available for Public Auction on eBay

Don’t remember those commemoration plates, now you can posses Kate’s car!

A Volkswagen Golf once hold by the Dutchess of Cambridge is being public sold on eBay UK. The blue compact –habitually seen in paparazzi photos of Middleton while she was being courted by Prince William– was bought in 2001 for £10,818 (approx. $17,000.)

According to its present vendor, Sonny Brazil, the two-door had about 60,000 miles on it before it was sold by Kate’s brother, James, to Brazil's father, a second hand car dealer in the city of Reading, for £1,400.

Brazil told to, The Daily Mail, a British newspaper, that the VW has been assessed for around £30,000, thanks to its history. He scheduled the car with a least offer of £20,000, but, with four days left in the sale, seven bidders have pushed the price equal to £25,100, which is still less of its hidden reserve.

Brazil set up a pair of men’s cufflinks in the car, which he genuinely planned to sale out, as well, but instead determined to provide them back to the Middleton family in case they have over-romantic value.

For a while after letting go of the VW, Middleton stepped up to an Audi A3 hatchback, which she still had at the time of her marriage. Prince William also drives an Audi – a high presentation S4 sedan – as does his father, Prince Charles, who has numerous in his garage. The Daily Mail has earlier reported that the German car manufacturer gives the Royal family a 60% discount on its cars, but Charles was smart enough to lend the newlyweds his wine-powered Aston Martin on the day of their wedding.
