In Faisalabad , Pakistan ’s city more than 20 people have been died and near about 100 wounded after a car bomb blast through a gas station.
The police say the device because of many gas cylinders at the station to blast, damage cars and buildings. The officials consider, probably it has been targeted to the ISI intelligence agency closed by the offices.
Up till now Faisalabad a main centre of Pakistan textile industry has solely been targeted. Though ISI offices and Pakistan army bases have been often under attacked by insurgents in different areas in Pakistan , this is considered to be the first attack on a security enforcement agency in Faisalabad .
In the recent years large numbers of people have been died in insurgency throughout Pakistan that mostly occur in the north west of the country near the impatient tribal areas closed to the Afghan border.
According to government news agency, Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has showed his grief over these deaths,
Commissioner Tahir Husain told it was a planted bomb blast and not a suicide attack. The bomb was blasted intentionally near the gas cylinders that converted into huge blast. Natural compressed gas is utilized in the most of the vehicles in Pakistan .
A security guard near the PIA office said, we heard the heavy blast from the gas station, the earth trembled as in earthquake and a thick smoke spread out all around. Television recording showed damaged buildings and burnt-out cars.
City commissioner told that some people are come under the rubble building and very soon the rescue work would be started through cranes and other machinery. We have great concern that the death toll could be increased because some of the injured persons are in very critical condition” told Aftab Cheema the police regional head.
