A profitable contract between Wayne Rooney & Coca-Cola ended


Wayne Rooney’s worthwhile sponsorship contract with Coca-Cola has been finished amongst disapproval over his blasphemous eruption on the ground.


The soft drink gigantic has verified that it will not be restoring its £600,000 per year agreement with the Manchester United striker to advertise its products.

Rooney, 25, had assisted in promoting Coke since 2005, but higher authorities at the company, which conceits itself on its family friendly icon, are considered to have become ever more disappointed with argument nearby the football star.

Last October it was reported that senior person at the US supported company were “shocked” by blames that Rooney had snooze with prostitutes while his wife Coleen was pregnant. And the footballer flamed more anger at the weekend when he promised at TV cameras after carrying out a hat-trick for Manchester United in their match at West Ham.

Rooney accepted the blames of using foul and filthy language but is tempting against a two games ban handed down by the FA.  Furthermore it remains not obvious when the ultimate decision was taken by Coca-Cola to finish their association with the footballer, the development was endorsed yesterday, few hours before Rooney scored the one goal in Manchester United’s Champion’s League quarter-final against Chelsea.

A spokesman for the firm said: “We unanimously settled that we would not mend our relationship. We wish Wayne sound in his career.
The spokesman of Rooney said: “The agreement ran its full course until the end of 2010.”

Rooney, who gains around £1 million a month, still has sponsorship contracts with Nike and EA sports.
