The most talked about moment of the night....embarrassing much?

Last night at the 2011 BET Awards, superfan Tiffany Green presented the Viewers’ Choice Award with Terrence and Rocsi. Things got real awkward when she read off the tablet, announcing the winner as Chris Brown....... but then looked up and read the teleprompter and said Rihanna and Drake were the winners for “What’s My Name?”

Everyone was in shock...then Drake ran up on stage to accept the award and said simply,

“Well that was awkward.”


The fan who announced the award was tweeting the whole time...

Bawling backstage. They totally fucked me up.

and says it was no mistake, BET did it all on purpose!

The tablet fuckin said CHRIS BROWN....the TELEPROMPTER said Rihanna. What the FUCK?????? Goin home.

Look bitches....Im not SLOW. lol They did the shit on PURPOSE. Fucked up right? *shrug* smh

If you listen and watch closely you can hear people on the sideline telling her look straight...look straight.

In the middle of all of this Rihanna, who wasn't at the awards, jumped on Twitter and posted,

#RihannaNavy thank you for proving what I tell the world everyday! Nobody fans go harder dan YALL!!! Thx 4 pickin that up @drakkardnoir 1LUV

By the way in case you are confused, Chris Brown really did win the Viewers choice Awards....not Rihanna and Drake.

UPDATE:

BET’s Stephen Hill responded to the mix up and is blaming "human error"...

“That BET Awards Viewer’s Choice mix-up was due to human error. And I was the human that made that error,”

he said in a tweet, before offering his apologies to “ALL affected.”
