Piper Perabo is a hands-on kind of girl when it comes to her roles. She works out daily to stay in shape for her role as Annie Walker on USA's Covert Affairs.

Piper Perabo isn't afraid to take action on her USA show Covert Affairs, which returns for a second season tonight, even if that means a few bumps and bruises.

"I know that when I'm watching an action sequence and they cut away and they show the hero from behind for the rest of the fight scene, I think, 'Oh, the actor just left and now we're watching a stunt person,'" she told USA Today. "It takes me out of it. I'm willing to suffer the bumps and bruises to make the show really great."

Perabo, who became better known after starring in Coyote Ugly, is clearly convincing viewers of Covert Affairs. She stars as Annie Walker, a CIA rookie who was unexpectedly promoted to a field agent. The first season of Covert Affairs debuted last year and quickly gained a fan base.

Diving into her role, Perabo dedicated herself to getting in shape and learning convincing moves. She explained to Fox All Access that because her character isn't a superhero, but rather a woman who has to fight off men who are larger than her, she had to train in two fighting techniques. She added, "The training is on a daily basis."

All that work certainly appears to be paying off, as Piper Perabo looks great and the show is doing well. Tune in to USA tonight for the season premiere of Covert Affairs.

Louise Bahshawe, Tory MP, confidentially weds with Peter Mensch

Louise Bagshawe, the author and Conservative MP, has married Peter Mensch, the rock promoter, in a ceremony that she kept secret even from her children.

In what could be the design of one her bestselling "chick lit'' novels, Bagshawe wedded the American 19 years her older during the parliamentary recess.

The marriage ceremony held in New York which was kept confidential even from her children. "I am very delightful," she tells Mandrake. "It was a small, personal ceremony in Manhattan and I'm return on job at next Tuesday."

Bagshawe detained Crosby for the Tories last year, while Mensch, 58, supervises rock bands including Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Snow Patrol. In 1998, Bagshawe, who turns 40 this month, wrote in The Daily Telegraph about her aims to locate a husband in America, where she was plunging scripts. That was where she met LoCicero.

Last month, she hit in the top stories when her joke about a super-injunction was covered up on the BBC show Have I Got News for You.

A new Twitter user posts latest list of super-injuctions

A new Twitter user has candidly disobeyed the courts by posting the details of 13 suspected super-injunctions.

Very soon after the US based company caved into a lawful defy and decided to release the personal features of an unidentified British Blogger, a user teased the authorities by publishing the most thorough list of gagging orders yet. The catalogue, which showed on Twitter, comprised links to court papers as well as full names and even addresses of some people contributed injunctions.
