Barack 'No Drama' Obama adopts a position on debt and ultimately loses his cool

It has used up two and a half years, but Barack "no drama" Obama has ultimately mislaid his cool.

He has gone from a meeting with Republican congressional representatives on deficit fall, asking them "enough was enough".

It was the fourth such meeting in as several days to end unproductively, and the president's growing irritation had been clear.

In a press conference on Monday he ruled out a provisional contract on enhancing the US debt limit, persisting "we might as well do it now – pull off the Band-Aid, eat our peas".
"They're in one week and they're out one week," he said, making his disturbance plain. "You require being here. I have been here. I've been doing Afghanistan and bin Laden and the Greek disaster. You keep on here. Let's get it done.

"Moderates will ask what took him so long.  Behind the public choice on health care, not succeeding to shut down Guantánamo, expanding Bush tax cuts for the -rich none of this reason the eminently cool operator in the White House to lose his rag. He has frequently been accused of additional objectivity, of failing to empathies with the dilemma of common Americans.

But the outlook of the US losing its higher credit rating, of not succeeding to arrange Social Security payments, of defaulting on loans, was over. My feeling is that he may have picked the correct issue on which to make a stand.

Mr. Obama reportedly said before he stormed out that his presidency might be ruined by failing to reach a deal, but the Republicans would be stupid to be saddled with the fault for driving the country further into the swamp.

Michelle Obama brings to mind lethargic memories

Michelle Obama reminded the memory of South African schoolchildren who struggle apartheid, saying their fight had assured the liberty that permitted her, a black woman, to be First Lady of the US.

Mrs. Obama hailed the courage of those children, who were assaulted by armed disturbance police when they marched in demonstrate at being trained in Afrikaans in 1976.

"That is the heritage of the sovereign generation, the freedom generation. And all of you, the younger generation of today, are the successor of that blood, sweat, give up and love.

"So the query today is, what will you make of that legacy? What heritage will you leave for your children and afterward generation?" she inquired of a cheering crowd of many thousand people grouped in Soweto's Regina Mundi Church, which performed as an asylum to several demonstrators.

Mrs. Obama is on the second day of a three-day visit to South Africa where she is looking to enlarge her youth and women rights agenda. On Tuesday, she along with daughters Sasha and Malia and mother Marian Robinson visited the country's 92-year-old past president, Nelson Mandela.

On Thursday, she will journey to Cape Town where she will trip Robben Island, where Mr. Mandela was locked up for 18 of his 27 years of jail punishment. She will later meet Archbishop Desmond Tutu and township schoolchildren at the Greenpoint football stadium where several World Cup matches were took place in previous June.

Today, she delivered speech an assembly of some of Africa's most powerful and impressive women from charities, governments, the media, culture, sports and arts. Pioneering her was Nelson Mandela's wife, who explained her as "Queen of the World".
Mrs Obama said she had selected to visit Africa since it was a "primary part of our interlinked world", a continent where all of the world's largest skirmishes, against disease, poverty, unemployment and environment change, were at their most intense.

"You may not always have a calm life and you will not forever be able to resolve all of the world's problems at once but don't ever misjudge the importance you can have because history has shown us that bravery can be catching and hope can take on a life of its own," she said.

The 47-year-old First Lady said that following "lions" from the South Africa's fight history such as Nelson Mandela, Walter Sisulu and Albert Luthuli might look intimidating, but added: "There are still many reasons worth giving up for, too much history yet to be made."

As The NBA Finals are about the come to end it's really heating up out there! It's 3-2 and the MIAMI heat need to win TWO games in a row to win!

What had everyone talking was Lebron and wade making fun of Mavericks player Dirk Nowitsky because he was sick.

Then they lost there next game! Yup, after they made fun of him...Dirk went on to score 52 points the next game while Lebron scored 11 and the heat lost.

and Dirk really was sick...

This had everyone making jokes about Lebron, in fact there are webpages full of 'em, like this one lol...

How do you know you've found Lebron James' cell phone? It vibrates
and receives calls, but doesn't have a ring!

So now if mavericks win, it's over. We'll see what happens Sunday, June 10th at 8pm Eastern!

Also this week Obama declared June as LGBT month...some of you may be saying huh? Well back in 2008 Clinton proclaimed June as Gay and Lesbian Pride month.....

And ever since, Obama has been reenforcing it as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Pride Month each year.

The gay community does not, however, have the month to themselves. Obama also proclaimed June “National Caribbean-American Heritage Month,”
“African-American Music Appreciation Month” and “Great Outdoors Month.”

Egypt's Internet Blackout Cost Economy 90Mil! Congress Looking To Pass Same Bill In United States!! (VIDEO)

On Wednesday, Egypt appeared to be back on the Internet. The country started going dark last Thursday when President Hosni Mubarak's government ordered that all forms of mass communication, including Internet access, mobile networks, and SMS, be blocked. By Friday, even the country's stock exchange was offline.

But on Wednesday, the Internet blackout ended.
"This represents a new Internet milestone,"
said Craig Labovitz, chief scientist at Arbor Networks.
"We have never seen a country as connected as Egypt completely lose Internet connectivity for such an extended period."
He predicted that the blackout would have long-term repercussions for the country.
"Today, the Internet is as an integral part of the Egyptian economy and society. Unlike periods as recent as a decade ago, governments of technically developed countries cannot disrupt telecommunication without incurring significant economic cost and social/political pressures."

It is estimated that the blackout cost Egypt's economy about $90 million, or $18 million per day, comprising 3% to 4% of the country's economic output. Furthermore, the economic damage isn't over yet. According to the organization, Egypt will find it
"much more difficult in the future to attract foreign companies and assure them that the networks will remain reliable."

But can this happen in the United States or anywhere else? The answer is YES.

Congress is considering a bill to expand the President's authority granting power to pull the plug on the internet at will.

The bill in question is the Protecting Cyberspace as a National Asset Act of 2010, a cyber-security measure introduced in June by Sen. Joseph Lieberman. It was an over-arching cyber-security measure that, among other things, would create an office of cyberspace policy within the White House and a new cyber-security center within the Homeland Security Department.

According to data on the web site opencongress.org, several companies and organizations are backing this proposed legislation. Among the corporate names backing the bill, are antivirus giant Symantec (Norton), and cyber security training organization SANS Institute.

If this bill goes through they would basically be able to shut our internet down just like Egypt.
