Tim Thomas wasn't the only person who was shutting down a team last night, Josh Beckett pitched a hell of a game himself, 9 innings, 1 hit and 6 ks. Beckett was spectacular and is making an EARLY case for Cy Young considerations as he dropped his ERA to 1.86. Beckett picked up his sixth win and stuck out six Rays in the win.
Youk hit a 3 run bomb and that was pretty much all that happened. Beckett has been unstoppable.
