A prized Jewellery collection of renowned Actress Elizabeth Taylor is to be sold at mart, Christie's has said.
In her collection which contains various world's most classy stones, will be sold including pieces from the star's art collection, some of her outfits and other memorabilia.
Christie's said it was scheduling a number of auctions fanatical to Taylor after attaining a contract with the demised actress's family. Details will be unveiled on this spring.
The actress passed away in Los Angeles last month in the age of 79, after a longest sickness history. She was recognized for being obsessive about diamonds and she published a book in 2003 entitled Elizabeth Taylor: “My Love Affair with Jewelry”.
In another distinct auction declared previous this month, an anthology of letters written by the star when she was a youngster to her first love William Pawley are to be sold online.
Written between March and November 1949, the 66 letters grant an imminent into Taylor 's grow to Hollywood celebrity.
A spokesman for RR Auctions said, the collection was purchased two years back from Mr. Pawley, who is now enjoying his retirement life. "We solely come across a collection as rich as this, the letters are in a spotless condition," Bobby Livingston said.
"William Pawley obviously loved and respected them for all these years."The online auction will go on between May 12 and 19.
