Petraeus hopeful about US-Afghan steps forward

Determining the US forces in respect of start withdrawing in July, the US commander in Afghanistan has said the Taliban's influence has been weekend in the main areas.
Gen David Petraeus, commander of US forces was giving his first official analysis to Congress since taking over the role last June. That meant official could suggested transferring some control to the Afghan forces in the spring. Presently about 97,000 US forces including 45,000 Nato allies troops are fighting against the war on terror.
Gen Petraeus had taken the command of US forces in Afghanistan after Gen Stanley McChrystal was asked to resign in June 2010. Reporting to the Senate Armed Services Committee, Gen Petraeus said the Taliban’s force has been detained in most of the country and upturned in a number of crucial areas". He said he was hopeful about the way of fight going ahead after the coalition’s present military successes. He added, we think that we will maintain the momentum obtained in 2010 though that clearly will require further stiff fighting.
However he warned that the achievements till now were sensitive and reversible and that proper financing was essential to avoid putting at risk to the military gains to date. I am worried over the level of financing for our State Department and USAID partners will not satisfactorily allow them to establish on the difficult fought security gains of our military men and women. Senator John McCain, the top Republican on the Armed Services panel recommended that the tactical tolerance should be grown. He said the patience would be much required because we are tackling tow other main challenges.
The first that the American taxpayers have the right to know that the huge funds they are spending on this war attempts should not be wasted, stolen, or distorted by Afghan the officials.
"A second main difficulty stalks from Pakistan."
The members of Congress are advising to Mr. Obama to pull out US forces from Afghanistan within one month or till the end of this year. The results shows intolerance with the war due to mounting budget pressure but it has futile in the past and probably to fail once again. Gen. Petraeus said in his comments that the supports for the war in Afghanistan amongst American have shown very lower level results.
Only 31% of those surveyed said the one decade old war had been appealed fighting, with 64% have said it was not worth fighting. The results also advises 73% of American think the US should withdraw a large number of its security forces from Afghanistan during this summer, but only 39% denied this. Last week on his unofficial visit to Afghanistan, US Defense Secretary Robert Gates said, in July America would be in a good position to withdraw its forces from Afghanistan. He also regretted over the killings of nine civilian boys by the Nato air strike.
President Obama said that civilian deaths are the focal reason of worsening the relationship between Afghanistan and America.
